The world’s first Focal Network, Anargraph is a virtual Wish tree where people are encouraged to plant ideas focused on a shared purpose or event and explore the real world connections between them.
The Anargraph is a beautiful, evolving digital sculpture, controlled by a simple touchscreen that generates unique, site-specific, viewer driven digital art.
The work is a mixed reality social experiment- a Therapy Toolbox enabling opportunity, mapping relationships and nurturing votives on a mission to reclaim and redefine “social” networking at a time when the world needs it most.
Starting as a Game where, if you're lucky, you claim ownership of a Bud by exploring a virtual 3D tree in the physical space. Buds are limited in number and when claimed, become view only. Later, through a private webpage, you assign an Image to your Bud and create a simple profile.
This is Yours, Forever. You become part of the growth of the group, open to possibility. You are invited to define relationships, connect and perhaps collaborate with other people who also put their energy into the experience.
Over time, the project will chronicle and report the most notable interactions and the real world stories that bloom. Images and text from the project will be bound into a high quality, sustainably sourced, highly graphical real world periodical: the Anargraph Almanach.
